Biography

In 1978, Pritchard was installed as the 14th Chancellor of the University at the August 10 Summer Commencement ceremony. Pritchard officially started July 3, 1978. In 1984, the Board of Trustees fire Pritchard as Chancellor. Pritchard died in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on July 8, 2020, reportedly of Alzheimer’s disease.
