Like his father, Philip Hornbein, Jr. was an attorney in Denver. He graduated from CU Law School and married Anne Levine in 1967. His father was Philip L. Hornbein, 1879-1962.

This film examines the pivotal role early Colorado Jewish citizens played in the state's political life.
