Abstract An ivory silk dress used as an underlay for the ivory and black dress. The dress is sleeveless with a V-cut neck and a fitted bodice. The bodice is off-white silk lined with a natural (not bleached or dyed) colored cotton. The skirt is a butter cream colored silk and lined in a light weight muslin. Abstract In 1899, the Jewish community erected the non-sectarian National Jewish Hospital for Consumptives (NJH), the first sanatorium in Denver, Colorado, for tuberculosis victims. With the financial assistance of the International B'nai B'rith fraternal organization, patients from all over the U.S. were admitted free of charge.
