Abstract
Beatrice Sanders was born on September 12, 1900 in Utica, NY and died in Trinidad, CO on August 23, 1987. She was known as a Trinidad civic learder, serving as acting rabbi for the Temple Aaron congregation and working with the Jewish community in many different capacities, including as congregation president. Sanders also founded the Maternal and Child Health Clinis and the Las Animas County Vision Fund in Trinidad.

File contains two newspaper articles about Beatrice. Both articles are on Beatrice Sanders being awarded the "People Helping People Award." Beatrice Sanders was acting rabbi for the Trinidad Temple Aaron congregation and president of the Trinidad Historical Society, Trinidad Garden Club, Las Animas County TB Association, Trinidad Tourist Club and City Federation and Women's Club. She founded the Maternal and Child Health Clinic and the Las Animas County Vision Club.
