Abstract

Papers pertaining to Professor Gilbert's political activism, including: his time at Harvard fighting ROTC, UCLA against the Violence Center (a counterpart to what the Black Panthers did in the state legislature and a project that was part of MK-Ultra), a separate campaign to hire Dr. Humberto Bracho, many campaigns at DU to rehire Black campus workers like Joe Patterson, campaigns agains Richard Herrnstein (whom Gilbert debated with Charles Murray, brought by ex-governor Lamm to push 'genetic "white" supremacy'), the Iraq Aggression and Gilbert's student Condoleezza Rice.
