Contact Prints of the Rosenthal Family, between 1900-1960
Abstract
Contact prints of 35 millimeter roll of film. Images are from the Rosenthal family. Two frames depict a young woman ice skating. One frame shows Anna and Max Rosenthal cutting the cake at their 50th wedding anniversary with their daughter Evelyn sitting next to them. Two frames depict Anna and Max Rosenthal's wedding portrait. Three frames are a picture of a photograph of Anna Shatz as an eight year old girl. One frame is a candid photograph of Anna and Max Rosenthal. Three frames are pictures of a portrait of Evelyn Rosenthal Stone. The final frame depicts a portrait of Max Rosenthal.

Scope and Contents
The collection contains materials intentionally assembled by the Ira M. and Peryle Hayutin Beck Memorial Archives of Jews in the Rocky Mountain region. The bulk of the photographs are from or related to various towns in Colorado, but the collection also contains photographs from other states in the western United States and other countries. There are some 19th century photograph types represented in the collection, including albumen prints, daguerrotypes, tintypes, post cards, colorized prints, cabinet cards, and cartes-de-visite.
