Abstract Aimee Peyser was born in 1899 in Denver and was an active member of the Jewish community in Denver for the rest of her life. She was one of the first women to hold an office on the board of directors of Temple Emanuel and worked for years as an educator of Jewish immigrants in West Denver. She married Melvin Strauss in 1923 and passed away in 1990.
Abstract 2-piece WWII Army dress uniform (tan jacket and matching pants) for summer, worn by Hank Marsarky at his wedding to Bobbe Oberfelder on August 30, 1944 in the Oberfedler's Denver home. Tag inside jacket "Quality by Kuppenheimer." Another tag identifies the jacket as being originally tailored for Mr. Lt. L. S. Mayers Jr., 6/24/1942. Hank was friend with the tailor who originally made the suit for his son who was killed early in the war.
