Abstract

Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Shriaberg Room Dedication at the Jewish Consumptives' Relief Society (JCRS) with four men standing around a plaque that says: ''In honor of, Mr. & Mrs. J. H. Shriaberg, Prince Rupert, B.C., Canada, October 8, 1957.'' John Streltzer is pictured on the right and Mr. Frazin is second from left. The other two men are unidentified. The JCRS was a sanatorium for tuberculosis patients that was founded in 1904 by a group of immigrant... Jewish workingmen along with the support of several leading physicians and rabbis in Denver, Colorado. The sanatorium was located on West Colfax Avenue just outside of Denver.
