Abstract A large Jewish family emigrated from Wilna, Lithuania. Sam Miller was born in 1872 and died in Wyoming in 1946. The family emigrated when Sam Miller was nine. Sam's brothers Robert Lazar and Joseph Miller also went into the cattle business. Joseph Miller was the father of Israel Miller and the grandfather of Micky Miller. Milstein and Heller Meat Company Records

Abstract Shul Baer Milstein, the patriarch of the Cotopaxi colony opened his own kosher meat market along with his sons who also worked in the business. Max Milstein died in 1947. Milton L. Anfenger was an attorney, Colorado state senator, humanitarian, and civic leader who lived in Denver, Colorado. He was president of National Jewish Hospital and the Denver Bears Baseball Club. He was a member of the Elks, Masons, Shriners, and B'nai B'rith. The papers include newspapers, newspaper clippings, invitations, photographs, and scrapbooks.

Abstract Minnie Golden Milstein was born in Denver and died in Denver March 5, 1958 at the age of 49. She married Harry Milstein and their son was Michael. Collection contains newspaper clippings, a New York port of entry card, notes and certificate from the United States Air Force to Minnie Milstein for her bravery in saving an airman after a B-29 crashed outside of her home in the Hilltop subdivision, badly damaging the home.
