A red and black print poster reads "You may work well, but if you can not save well you're like a good ship without ballast - safe, while the sea is calm, but liable to go down with the first storm. Be prepared for storms - Buy W.S.S. Government Loan Organization. Second Federal Reserve District. War Savings Committee. Form No. 50." Poster text is mostly in blank ink and has a red outside border. In the upper right hand corner is the image of a sailor at the the wheel of a ship.
