Abstract Dr. Noa Dymenberg was born in Sifean (sp?), Romania (in the region of Basseribia). Dymenberg joined his father in the lumber business while also studying to be a rabbi, but decided to leave Romania to escape conscription in the army. He went to live with an acquaintance in Vienna, Austria, and began studying under him to become a doctor.
