Pencol Drug Store was owned and operated by pharmacist and businessman Azriel Stein, who was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Located at the corner of Pennsylvania Street and Colfax Avenue, and opening in the 1930s, Pencol Drug was a fixture on the Denver landscape for several decades.
