Contains Copy of November 1942 postcard from Miami with a Curtis Hawk P-40 on the front sent from Alvin to Louann Rosenbaum Miller and Stan Rosenbaum, his first cousins. Also contains an eulogy written by Rabbi Friedman for Alvin Rosenbaum, the first cousin of Louann and Stan. Alvin Rosenbaum was killed in August 1943 during World War II.

Abstract Rabbi Earl Stone was born in 1914 in Pennsylvania and attended Syracuse University and was ordained before moving to Chicago to serve as the assistant rabbi at Temple Isaiah Israel. He served with General Patton's staff in World War II and was decorated with the Presidential Unit Citation, six battle stars, three bronze arrows, and the bronze star. He married Judith Wilensky in 1942 and following the war moved to Jacksonville and then Denver in his capacity as rabbi or assistant rabbi. He...
