Box 1: Photographs, 1949-1975
This box contains photographs from plays directed by Jerry Rumley, headshots, and photographs of Rumley dancing. In this box are photographs from the 1958 production of Thorton Wilder's "Our Town" at the Virginia Museum Theatre, the 1958 production of George Bernard Shaw's "Major Barbara" at the Virginia Museum Theatre, a Denver Post Opera Show, and USO shows.

This box also contains choreographic notes and notebooks for Alvin Ailey, Ballet von Vlaanderen, and Carolina Ballet .
