Abstract

Ali Joseph served as School District 50 director of staff relations from 1976 to 1978. At that point he stepped into the post of superintendent. Joseph helped broker an agreement between the school board and the teachers union and spearheaded a $15 million bond issue in 1979 to renovate aging school buildings.
