Abstract Elizabeth Antonofsky [Anthony] Epstein (1871-1938) was born in Kiev, Russia. Her family moved to New York, where she met Frederick Epstein (1865-1931), originally of Lithuania. The couple moved to Colorado for Fredrick's tuberculosis, and they settled in East Denver where he worked as an insurance salesman.
