Rabbi Daniel & Ida Goldberger, 1994
Abstract
Rabbi Daniel Goldberger (1924-2007) was a prominent individual in the Denver Jewish community. He married Ida Goldberger (1924- ) in 1947. Daniel Goldberger was born in New York City and received his and Master's degree from the University of Chicago in 1950. Goldberger was a member of the first Jewish-Catholic interfaith dialogue, and was very active in both Jewish and non-Jewish community organizations. He served Beth Joseph Synagogue from 1951-1971, and was the rabbi for the Hebrew Educational Alliance Synagogue from 1979-1994. Ida Goldberger was an active teacher and community memer in both Denver and Jefferson Counties.
