Scope and Contents Ink wash painting titled "Despair" of a woman sitting on a short stool in front of a Fanklin stove with the door open and a pot on top. Sitting on the floor is an empty basket. Behind the woman is a window and a shelf with a candle and two canisters. Ink wash is done on an old roll of unused wallpaper as stated by the artist in a 1971 Rocky Mountain News Article. See B333.08.0001.0001.00004.
Overview Dr. Bob Pliny, creator of the artist book "Oh Come Celebrate the Sacred Soil!", donated his rough drafts, outlines, and notebook he used during the creation of this book. His letter of explanation, included in the collection, says "I am not a poet; I am simply using the language of wonder and delight to express my ideas."

Scope and Contents Box contains one acrylic painting by Maria Lowenstein, done while she was living in Denver. Painting is of six figures, all with head coverings, grouped together. Three figures on the top appear female while the two figures on the lower left appear male. On the center right is a figure whose face is covered by their hands.
