Personal papers belonging to a George Stehle of Pennsylvainia. Papers include his birth certificate, copy of his Last Will and Testament, WPA employment record and pay summary, letter about grievence to mediation board for Penn. and Lake Erie Railroad, letter from Post Office and senate committee and check from Denver Dry Goods Store. There is an envelope from JCRS but it is empty. Also containes financial information.

Recalls watching the silver and ore smelters at a mine in Leadville and his connection with Baby Doe Tabor. Benson discusses the railroad industry in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, including railroad accidents. Discusses the influx of Chinese immigrants working for the Public Service Company building power lines in the mountains.
