Abstract A two-piece taffeta skirt and bodice. The bodice is made from buttercream colored taffeta matching the skirt. However, the sleeves are made from a like colored fabric, but not of the same jacquard (woven print). The bodice is slightly V-necked and closes front-center. Two layers of lace (matches the lace used in the skirt) trim the neck, the cuffs, the bottom of the bodice and the gussets on the sleeves. Abstract A two-piece taffeta skirt and bodice. Skirt consisting of a buttercream colored taffeta overskirt with underskirt. The jacquard print has vertical stripes of left and right facing flowers with stems that run the length of the fabric. The lower edge of the overskirt has tabs that come to points. The tabs are trimmed with buttercream colored piping and lined with taffeta that matches the skirt. The purpose of the tabs is to add weight to the points and made them less likely to flip or flutter....

A purple leather pump (the right pump) with embroidery over the toe of shoe. The embroidery consists of purple and lavender pansies with green leaves on purple satin background. Two strips of lavender satin are over vamp of shoe and at the end of satin ribbon on inner side of shoe is a lavender ribbon flower. Originally belonged to Sally Fried.

Abstract Frances Wisebart Jacobs, born in 1843, earned the nickname "Mother of Charities" because of her many efforts to assist the poor, the homeless, and the disenfranchised. She joined or helped to found charitable organizations and events in Denver, Colorado, and at the national level, and she was instrumental in raising support for the construction of Jewish Hospital in 1892.
