This collection contains the personal papers of Janine Gastineau, a dance critic. The collection in large part is made up of newspaper clippings of articles written by Gastineau and informational packets on various dance troupes and companies. Also included in the collection is research performed by Gastineau and her co-author Frank Ferguson for a book on Vera-Ellen, a famous musical actress from the 1950s. This book was apparently never completed.

This collection contains materials gathered by Joan Brown. The materials relate to her education at the University of Utah and the University of Colorado, her teaching career with the Denver Public Schools, and her time as Assistant Director of the Denver Public Schools Shakespeare Festival.
